Cher: The Comic Book

Cher: Female Force goes on sale tomorrow.
Writer Marc Shapiro said Cher's life and career "reads like a comic book." "The clothes, the times, the attitudes of the decades she's lived through. The different styles of music she's been involved in. So much of what Cher has experienced is so flamboyant, over the top and just plain out there," said Shapiro. "She has been very much the real life equivalent of a superhero, and writing about Cher, to a large degree, has been just about letting my imagination go."

Madge On M.I.A.

"I was really surprised. I didn't know anything about it. I wasn't happy about it. I understand it's punk rock and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy and positivity; it seemed negative. It's such a teenager, irrelevant thing to do. There was such a feeling of love and unity there. What was the point? Madonna Tour Dates Announced Today

The dates and locations for Madonna's upcoming tour will be announced today. Boy Culture thinks the image being use to sell tickets looks a bit too much like the Unabomber.

UPDATE: Here you go.
The tour will play 26 European markets, including London, Paris, Milan and Berlin, before hitting North American shores beginning Aug. 28 in Philadelphia. Twenty-six shows are planned for North America, including a Sept. 6 show at New York's Yankee Stadium, and an Oct. 10 performance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale beginning Feb. 10 in Tel Aviv and the U.K., with North American tickets going on sale beginning Feb. 13. Tickets for North America are available at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.

I wonder how many queens have programmed their DVR just for Sunday's halftime show? (Guilty!)
